How can I read questions and answers from TickerHound while I’m on other sites?

If you’d like to read your favorite TickerHound Q&A’s while you’re using sites like Google, AOL or Yahoo then you’ll need to subscribe to our RSS feeds.

For a great description of RSS and how it works you can check out this article on About.com (http://netforbeginners.about.com/od/rssandlivewebfeeds/f/rss.htm).

You can find our RSS feed links all over the site.  They usually appear at the bottom of lists of content (Questions, Answers, Top TickerHounds, etc.) and look like little orange icons with 3 white lines inside of them.

If you click the icon/ link, you you might see a page that looks like raw code or funny text everywhere. Don’t freak out, your computer isn’t broken! On this page you’ll simply have to copy the web address from the address bar near the top of the screen.  To do that you’ll need to highlight the entire text area, then click on the “Edit” menu at the top of the web browser and select the “Copy” item.

Instead of going through that long process you could also use the right mouse button – so if you right-click the icon/link, and then choose “Copy Shortcut”, you’ll get the same result as above.
