I began investing in stocks and bonds in 2003. By 2005 I began daytrading. I've had my fair share of financial advisors, stock pickers, and trading systems. In mid 2006 I had a personal injury and switched to swing trading because the medication & daytrading didn't mix well. I realized I enjoyed swing trading more than daytrading. I live on the west coast and didn't like the idea of getting up early to watch the opening bell nor watching my broker make more money than me through commissions. In mid 2007 I decided finance was my passion. I not only wanted to know technical analysis but fundamental analysis as well. There are not many ways to get a true grasp on fundamental analysis so I decided to return to college and obtain a bachelors degree in business with a concentration in finance. I should complete my degree by mid 2009. Instruments Traded: stocks, options, ETFs, bonds, mutual funds Favorite Technical Setup: MA, MACD, RSI, Candle Stick Charts, P&F Charts, Industry Breadth, and Sentiment. Favorite Fundamental Setup: I look for red flags on income/balance sheet/ cash flow statements. Also MD&A.
