Who has the best charts for research?
I'm a math guy and like having justifiable signs for making a trade, rather than just an educated guess. The Tycoon Report has done an excellent job of showing me what to look out for (i.e. RSIs), but not where to look at those signs. I'd like to know where to get those types of charts in the first place. Thanks to all for your replies! If the charts are only available through various discount online brokers (Tradeking, ETrade, Ameritrade, etc...), then please let me know which y'all prefer and why.

I'm a huge fan of BigCharts.com - I know that might sound silly considering it's a free service but they allow me to break down charts in such detailed ways that I just can't see paying for anything else. But then again, I'm not the biggest proponent of technical analysis.

stockcharts has a lot of options for the technical analysis of charts, and i find their charts to be useful. They don't have daily charts though. Other then that, bigcharts is probably your best bet

BigCharts is one of the best ones for charting that is free. InvestorsIntelligence.com is a paid subscription, reasonably priced, but the best I've seen for BPI, RSI, Point and Figure, Sectors, Breadth, Sentiment, Timing and a whole bunch more information and chart analysis. Investors Intelligence is one of the sites recommended by Chris Rowe in his CRISS course and Teeka Tiwari in his ETF Master Trader course. Both of these men are CIOs for the Tycoon Report. InvestorsIntelligence.com also has a one month free trial period. However, there are other sites out there. OptionsXpress.com (online broker) also has good charts. With OptionsXpress.com, you can even chart the option chains. They also have good analysis reports and virtual trading. Again there are other online brokers that also have good information and analysis platforms. I use both of these sites, and that is why I recommend them. This is only my opinion, so please do your due diligence and go with the site that best fits your needs.

Bigcharts definitely is a very good free chart provider, but I also like Yahoo's New Beta Chart. Even it's in beta version, but still it gives you a clearer picture in detail, and highly interactive. Whereas in Bigcharts, the graph is a bit hard to see.

It very much depends on how serious a technical trader you see yourself becoming!
BigCharts is a great free starter-for-ten.
OptionsXpress have some good stuff going on, as do ThinkorSwim.
For my money, though, I go for http://www.eSignal.com every time. It'll cost you from around $1,000 a year, depending on what you want to access, but it's fast, reliable, easy to use, extremely flexible, and I'd almost guarantee you'll never grow out of it!
