Will Ford be able to turn the corner this coming year?
Ford (NYSE: F) has been struggling with the rest of the US automakers - but do you think this year will be the year they turn their ship around? Explain why or why not.

Agreed.
Given that F and GM appear to be much more sensitive to fundamental data and news, IMO, no real substantial upside potential there.
Unless they come out with a car that runs on....toothpaste?
In regards to auto repair shop that EthanR mentioned, Copart is a great company run by a great management team. Definitely worth taking a look. I'm just kicking myself for not buying when I wanted to.

Technically Ford (F) appears to be heading lower, possibly to re-test the recent 6.50 low or the 6.19 low from last August. However, it is quite oversold right now and the MACD is turning up. That's about the best I can say for it. The fundamentals look awful, and analysts are predicting that December car sales numbers and possibly 2008 as well will be very bad. Basically you have an overextended consumer, and I think this year will be a good one for the auto repair shops! So no turning around this year in my opinion.
