Has anyone had any experience trading options with Schaeffer Research? What are your thoughts?

I get lots of information touting their success in producing high returns on options purchases. Just wondering if anyone has had any real world experience with the firm.

Nope, never used them - I've had some moderate success with the Options University courses though. Might want to look into them a bit. But definitely do your due diligence before choosing ANY of the firms that put out research/advisory services on options...just because they say something in their marketing pitch doesn't mean it's true. Also, make sure ANY service you subscribe to has a firm money back guarantee...if they try to give you some slick excuse as to why they don't, simply pass on the deal and go next.

Good luck!

I do get the Schaffer's paid news letter everyday. Their performance is reasonably ok. I have deleted their performance record which they send every month. Once I get it next time, I will forward it across to you.

I have found their blogs real good.
They have a free CD on options which is good.

I have subscribed to one of the options letters for a couple of months. I haven't taken all of the advice offered, but have done very well on what I've used. Follow up is better than with other letters I've gotten--at least a couple of email updates a week. The educational materials offered were very good for me, since I am new to options and I feel they got me up to semi-speed quickly. I feel I have received good value for the subscription price.

Have tried Schaefers with limited success. Be prepared to be bombarded withsales pitches. You might think about looking at Options University for a true education on options and not just a picking service.
