What criteria do you use for selecting a full service broker?
Obviously, for online trading accounts you look for research and price per trade...but for a full service broker (someone who might've called you up and "pitched" you a stock idea) the process is a bit different. What advice would you give a novice investor on choosing which full service broker to work with?

I wold tell a novice investor to look for someone who seems to have their best interest at heart, and is not just trying to churn your account, or sell you the stocks that make his company more money.
