Can you buy great stocks(GE,WFC.KFT...)on margin when they are oversold or avoid it at all cost?
it is very tempting for investors to buy stocks on margin at what appears to be the beginning of a bull market. What s your take on this behaviour?

It depends on how what your entry and exit strategy is. I would personally only recommend using margin in situations where your planning on trading the stock, not holding the stock for a very long period of time. It sounds to me like you plan on buying the stock, and holding it for a long period of time (6 months+), so I would avoid using margin.
