Which international stocks are the best bet for a US investor right now? asked by StaffQuestion
The question above has me thinking. There were some good answers. I know the use of ETF's are very convenient for this kind of thing but how would I even go about buying shares in individual companies in countries such as Pakistan, Vietnam, Slovenia, Croatia etc.

I think you can get information from to stock brokers in above countries. There are stock brokers with foreign partners. Now we can register through online as well. You can also get information through stock exchange websites.

I heard that FOREIGN INVESTORS can also buy the two largest stocks in Pakistan, Pakistan Telecom and Hub Power, via global depositary receipts traded on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
