Does anybody know any publicly traded companies that make wood pellets?

Or which industry wood pellets would classify/be found in? Thanks in advance.

I don't really know of any publicly traded companies where this makes up a significant portion of their production line. The closes thing I found was a company that trades on the London, Libra Natural Resources Plc. (Symbol: LNR). But that looks like a pretty thinly traded stock as of late.

Anybody else?

I would sign in to the dailywealth newsletter...it's free and has some good commentary. Two days ago, they published an article concerning the wood chip pellet companies in SE USA, and the name of the Co. that makes the chipper equipment. I would read the article in some detai, because their analysis is that this is likely to be a 'fleeting' trend

The address is:

good luck and best wishes.

The articles I've read about wood pellets suggest, and I think rightly so, that rather than investing in the wood-pellet producers, just buy timber REITs instead, such as PCL, RYN or TimberWest.

Yes I've been watching Libra for some time now - but I'm glad I didn't jump in on the advice of my investment banking friend as it has dropped by quite a way. He believes it has good management and is looking very good value now, so I'll keep an eye on it.
