Prospects for Celgene (CELG)?

Short term, i'd say its a good company to be in. From what i've seen, stocks generally continue on "earnings momentum" for at least a couple days after earnings is released, so there is some profit there for swing traders. It also broke a critical resistance level at 57.50, further proving it has some momentum, although the volume was disappointingly standard.
Long term, i wouldn't be a buyer, because its return on equity is too low (below 25%). With a return on equity that ranks as merely average, i'd expect this company to perform a little better then the market only because its a defensive stock (selling a staple), and the market is going downwards. Still, i wouldn't call it a buy.
Conclusion: Unless your doing it for the short term (3 days to 2 weeks), I'd say this company isn't a buy.
