Investing Newsletters
I get many solicitations from investing newsletters that want to give me FREE super-duper investment tips just for trying their service. Which newsletters do you read/pay for and what do you like about them?

I have used "Personal Finance" from KCI: tel # 703-394-4931, for 15 years. Another one that's reasonable in cost/value is "High-Yield Investing" from StreetAuthority, LLC 1-800-796-8025.
Others that I have subscribed to are the ones from AGORA, Stansberry< , Oxford Club, etc. Many have fast -trading, options, and other rapid response scenarios...but these are not for me.
My INVESTING philosophy is to buy stocks/securities that will pay me to hold the risk they represent. Capital appreciation is a secondary consideration, because all my investments are in tax-sheltered accounts, so the tax benefit of cap gains is illusory. Naturally, purchasing ACH at 25.00 and selling it at 78.00 was a nice opportunity, but that's rare. (It went back to 36, and I bought again). Meanwhile. a lot of the closed end funds went down in value ... even though their "dividend" stream continues undiminished ... so the MRD for this next year is less, but the income is up.
Your situation may be different. I believe a short subscription to Hulbert's fianancial advisory ranking service might be useful. Another site that's free is Tycoon.com, with some good commentary, not too conservative nor too crazy. Wayne Mulligan is a frequent contributor at that site, and he's your host here. They just posted a list of a dozen free info sites, all have blogs with advice; many have sidebars that offer trial subscriptions. & Yes!, you do get your money back if the advisory is not for you ... or a prorated refund on the unused portion of your subscription. Just be sure to keep the printout of the offer or a copy of the return form that you might mail in.

this is a tough question to answer because this really is a suggestive thing. i love to read tycoon report as well as ticker hound because of their diverse nature and they allow individual investers to get involved in the learning process. but the best newsletter for you is going to be dependent much on your personal investing style .not all news letters are created equal which is a good thing . if your into swing trading , you certainly don't need lots of information on buy and hold or value buying . so its really dependent on personal investing styles .
