This lesser-known personal finance program offers a checkbook-type interface, prints checks, reconciles your bank account, tracks your expenditures, and prints a variety of reports. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that MS Money and Quicken offer, but if you're looking for simple and direct, you might consider this as an alternative. The program is cross platform (can be used with Windows, Linus, or Mac OS X operating systems).

There are simple excel based software’s as well. I personally like simple excel based personal finance software. Still we can use excel for accounting and money management work efficiently and effectively. We don’t want to down load softwares. It is simple and easy to mange. Cost is less. We also save our time. In addition I think we have to select type of software according to the need of the individual.
