Buffett: I am a Huge Bull on the American Economy€™
No bailout needed, says billionaire investor Warren Buffett.
The investing legend said this week that he thinks the U.S. economy can fix itself soon enough, and without a federal stimulus plan.
"I am a huge bull on the American economy," Buffett told Ontario daily The National Post.
A recession is looming, but Buffett says the United States has overcome worse and come out ahead.
It is not a smart thing to sell the United States short over the years -- or Canada for that matter,€ Buffett said. "The world does get better. People get more productive. More human capacity is unleashed over time.€

I absolutely agree. Granted people are scared right now as the media feeds all their fears. Big banking has been very irresponible for the last several years letting their greed get the better of them. The Bears are having a field day as some of their gloom and doom prophecies are coming true. They are happily feeding the fear. Big oil is making record profits and most likely lying about what is really happening with oil reserves and production. The general public has been maligned by many as stupid for getting themselves into mortgages that they can no longer afford. It all sounds ominous.
Despite all the negativity, I know that Americans step up when the going gets tough. We are an incredibly industrious and resilient nation. We work hard, compete hard and are very generous to others in need. I just can't see this nation giving up. In fact I believe that adversity brings out the best in us. So I say - BRING IT ON. The world will see once again just what we're made of.
Like my beloved NY Giants who won the Superbowl despite great odds, the US economy will be in recovery before long, even if the road is bumpy for a little while.

My friends; the US is currently having a BIG SALE on: Money, Stocks, and Real-Estate. When is the LAST time that anybody can remember this happening?
Recession, reshmession as Groucho Marx might say ... use some of that CHEAP MONEY and any spare cash that you can scrounge up to start leveraging into as much cheap income-producing real-estate and stocks as you can afford to HOLD ON TO for the long-term.
You just MAY get rich in the process ...
