Real Estate, Euro and Buying up the Market?

Heard on the news the other day, that our Foreign neighbors are now coming to the US to buy property using the Euro. States most affected are California, Texas and Florida. Will this boost the market or derail it some more?

Prices are coming down in the U.S., and even before the housing market began to tank, prices for desirable condos or "luxury" homes in the U.S. contrasted very favorably vs. those in Paris, London or other, less stable and healthy, neighborhoods. So some more euro-holders see value here, and I don't think it will affect the broad real estate market here at all.

Hi SharonMR

I don’t think it will help to boost the market. There may be some temporary support. Overall present sentiments and fundamentals have to be changed to give some sort of boost to the market.
