Buffett buys Kraft - should we?
It's up about 3% after-hours...worth stepping in and buying tomorrow for the long term?

This is something to take seriously .I think it is better do some research and accumulate this stock if there is a potential in the future.
I think food related stocks, animal productions including poultry stocks and some soft commodity stocks will do well in 2008 and 2009. That is the place to put money under the current market environment. You can find this types of stocks through out the world including emerging countries and some frontier markets.

Warren Buffett knows a good buy when he sees it. Don't know what he paid for Kraft stocks, but he knows how to buy at a good price. However, on the P&F chart, it shows Kraft in a column of "O"s and still moving down, possibly to 25.00$ before it reverses back up. Keep your eyes on the charts and wait for a confirmed buy signal.

To answer this question about should you buy craft if Buffet does.
Have you taken time to research this company before investing? everyone makes errors , including Buffet, so research each and every stock before investing , i don't care who bought before you or who recommends the stock. If your mom says this stock looks good, don't just rush out and buy because its your mom talking, do your homework always.
Another point to consider. Buffet can purchase a stock and not have to report this purchase sometimes for months after he has bought it . this could mean he got in when the getting was good, and now, months later, you hear about his purchase and the price may have gone up considerably and it might be best to wait it out a while for a dip before making that purchase yourself.

Actually, whether someone has to report the purchase or sale of a position depends on the size of the position and whether the purchaser is an "Insider". Warren Buffet has always been a buy and hold investor and is one of the more reliable people to watch (vs. the hot tip you got over the water cooler).
