Average Price?
If you buy 910 shares at 3.10 and then you buy 1710 shares of the same company at 2.63.
What would be your average price.Please describe your formula in detail.Thank you.

First figure out your total cost for the 910 shares (910 * 3.10 = 2821).
Then figure out your total cost for the 1710 shares (1710 * 2.63 = 4497.30).
Then add those two numbers up and divide it by the total number of shares. (7318.30 / 2620). You average cost is $2.79 per share.
