How would you value brk.b? Would now be a good time to purchase this stock?
I am interested in purchasing brk.b stock. I see that it is at the lowest it's been since the first of the year? How do you value brk.b? And would now be a good time to purchase it or wait until 3rd quarter. Even Warren says to buy when it is cheap. How do I know if it is cheap enough?

BRK-B will never really be cheap enough as even Warren will admit that he can't get as good returns as he used to when he was smaller.
On the other hand, if you feel that BRK will continue to run for the next 20 years (but, no less!) as it has run in the past 20 years ... then anytime is a good time to buy (kind'a like buying a Mutual Fund ... but, without the fees).

To value BRK.B fundamentally, pull financial information using BRK.A. Use the charts for BRK.B for technical analysis.
