How can we profit off the Art bubble?

Eli Broad just commented on CNBC that Fine Art is in a bubble, with prices tripling in recent years. Is there a way to profit if the bubble collapses? Any ETF's that short the art market?

What about some of the auction houses? Do they have listed stocks? Seems to me if the art prices collapsed, that might mean less revenue for them.

This is an awesome question, but unfortunately, this is one of those markets you can't take advantage of on a mass scale...the art and collectibles world of products has yet to be securitized.

I don't think they're publicly traded, but this article in the journal this morning caught my eye and thought you might like it:

Arts tough. You really need to know about the specific area you like. But you have time to study up and when the bubble crashes you will know your stuff and be able to buy before the next bubble appears. Also if you look at inflationary adjusted prices art doesn't look as bad as it is portrayed. I don't know of any ETF"s or other vehicles, look to fine wines that seems to be laggin art but is sure in an up market. Talk later Ethan.
