I have been a coin collector for 37 years. Barr dollars have been hyped for as long. You can still buy them crisp uncirculated for less than $10/note. Our current notes are made in the billions. If you want to start a currency collection start with a good book and do your own homework. You can also start now with money from banks for face value by getting bills in each denomination, federal reserve and series. Star notes carry a premium over non starred notes as well as radars and repeaters.
