This is complete speculation - and I'm not saying it'll happen by December - but I think we could realistically see the Dow near the 10,000 range. If that happens I'll be a happy camper - tons of bargain stocks out there!

The confidence is not back yet. There are tons of bad loans out there. Housing price still dropping and home builder are losing money also. Maybe there is a lot more downside to go in this market. I would say, don't be too optimistic now, even thought it's an election year, take some bearish position when the market rally, we yet to see a bottom for the financial.
