Who or what determines whether options will be available to trade along with publicly traded stock?
I find some fundamentally strong exchange listed stock having no options traded that are derived from the stock. It appears to make no difference whether the stock is trading at $2.50-$3, etc, or whether the market price of the stock is $10-$11.00 or more.
