Can hedge funds beat the S&P over time?
Warren Buffett just bet $1 million that a basket of carefully selected hedge funds can't beat the S&P over a 10 year period. What do you think?
A fund has already accepted the challenge.

If Warren is betting NO then, all things being equal, that's where I'd put my money in a heartbeat.
By the way, Warren is so smart that his $1M bet is actually a $320k out of pocket bet (that buys a bond, now held in escrow for 10 years ... will be worth $1 Mill. when cashed, hopefully, by Warren's winning charity).
