Buy U.S. Government Bonds only if you believe that the reckless financial policies, deficit/profligate spending and lack of long-term leadership in areas such as energy policy, disease care, failing infrastructure, failed public education, Social Security/Medicare shortfalls are sustainable without major tax increases and diminishing standards of living for millions of Americans. Running the currency printing presses cannot fix the structural problems that become worse with each year they are ignored. Federal tax hikes will be necessary in the near future.
