Apple or Google?
I have some free cash in my account right now, debating on which one to buy...I'd like to take a vote...who thinks I should buy Apple and who thinks I should buy Google?

Don't you mean "which one to short"? They're both extremely overvalued and due to tank further.

I owned both; got into AAPL early, GOOG late. Sold much of my larger stake of AAPL recently, all of my very few shares of GOOG just $20 before it would pass my purchase price on the way down, but I should have held on: it turned up again. So much for following the market. IMHO, it's best to decide based on what you think is a fair value for the company, and let Mr. Market do his worst (setting appropriate stop-loss orders to lock in gains, which I recently started to do after many years of investing). As the Oracle, Warren Buffett, says, "When you invest, buy part of a company, don't rent a piece of paper".
