Not so much the stock market, but the real estate market, will most definitely affect how I'm spending my money.

Home improvements are out for the time being. I can't see investing new money into my home if it won't do anything to really help the value in the short term. So I'm content to just live in it for now.

I won't be unloading all my investments, but I do think I'll shore up some cash, and I'll do that for a couple of reasons:

1. For a rainy day
2. I know this market will bounce back, not quite sure when, but I know it will. And when it does I want to be ready with free cash to buy some cheap stocks.

Even though the market is going down there are always buying opportunites. I'm looking to short or sell calls or buy puts. Currently I'm looking at the diamonds looking for time and strike price that I believe will return a good profit as the market, in my opinion continues to go down.
