Would you buy Microsoft products just because Jerry Seinfeld is in the ads??

I don't get how the world's largest consumer software company is going to spend $300 million on an ad campaign with Jerry Seinfeld in it. Try making a good product and then I'll buy more of it!

I did not watch the T.V. show because he was in it. So I doubt that I would buy the product just because he is payed millions to endorse it.

I don't think the ads are a signal to short MSFT at all. The Seinfeld sit com was the top rated TV show for many years, and Seinfeld's popularity is still huge. That should have a beneficial effect upon the products that MSFT makes. If there are other reasons to short MSFT, then so be it, but don't do it because Seinfeld is going to make ads for them.
