What's the best investment software?

Intuitive interface, variety of filters, ease of updating & tracking your positions, reports generated, Initial cost & fees charged are important to me. Many brokers provide tools and research data. Do I buy software or use a broker's tools?

I don't use investment software so I can't help you there. But a free resource that you may be interested in is http://www.successful-investment.com/index.html . That same site owner has a blog at http://thewallstreetbully.blogspot.com/ . Another free educational site is http://tycoonreport.tycoonresearch.com/ . And they sometimes give recommendations in their newsletter.
