I think recently Mr McCain reversed his opposition to offshore drilling and is pushing it as a way to lower gas prices and increase U.S. energy independence.

On the other hand Mr Obama said he's willing to support an expansion of offshore oil drilling aimed at increasing domestic energy production

McCain's campaigns have praised Obama and the other senators for ``following John McCain's leadership toward above' approach on energy that includes alternative energy and offshore drilling.

Above economic decisions are very prudent decisions. Both will get public support on energy matter and inflation.

.This decision will bring further pressure to oil and other commodities. Many American industries will benefit most. Inflation will come down. Gradually economy will improve and there will be more employment opportunities and demand for products and services will increase.

As a result of this investment will increase and there will be growth in other sectors such as financial and retail sector etc.

I think American people should select a president who can generate more employment opportunities, bring down inflation and accelerate economy

If you read following websites you can get better idea about presidential candidates. Accordingly you can select best candidate for the presidency to develop USA

PLAN TO STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY
“I believe that America's free market has been the engine of America's great progress. It's created a prosperity that is the envy of the world. It's led to a standard of living unmatched in history. And it has provided great rewards to the innovators and risk-takers who have made America a beacon for science, and technology, and discovery…We are all in this together. From CEOs to shareholders, from financiers to factory workers, we all have a stake in each other's success because the more Americans prosper, the more America prospers.”
