Manpulation. The US government admitted they have manipulated or propped up the dollar. And as everyone know the currencies are the most technical of all trades, and the USD set off a huge buy signal. So manipulated, or managed to set off the buysignal, the rest was taken care of by the mindless black box hedge fund trading systems. The same just happenned in reverse with gold and silver setting off sell signals and stops which have cascaded the prices lower when $850 and $16.50 were broken to the downside.

The drop in oil was caused by a strong dollar. Not the other way around. If the dollar was strong oil would be cheap that's all there is to it. The only way a strong dollar will be seen is in the written records of Hank and Benny's testimonies and speaches when we look back at history, the dollar is doomed.
