What about industrial metal sector?
Recent past we had sharp fluctuations with tumbling prices for this sector. However yesterday nickel futures went up by more than 8%. Is it a technical short-term rebound or is it time to enter into industrial metal sector.
This sector hit hard recent past and prices went down sharply sometimes more than 35%.
Thanks.

For 40+ years high performing plastics derived from petroleum have displaced metals
in consumer goods, from kitchen appliances to cars. Now that oil has jumped in price
this trend could bottom out but the ease of injection molding plastics gives 'em an edge
Nickel steels (like stainless) and engine alloys will be in demand where high strength and corrosion resistance is req'd so the high percentage of nickel used in such alloys means it should be a good investment
