With the AIG collapse, what ramifications on future premiums
Will the crisis in Insurance have any effect on future premiums for the average Policy holders. I have already seen business changes as I was told that I would not be renewed on my auto policy because they will no longer insure single car policies. This was by AIG. Has anyone else had the same kind of response from their insurers

Except for natural disasters like hurricanes, other insurance companies should not have to raise premiums which are based on loss expectancy. As long as the other insurance companies did not insure speculative paper like AIG did, they should be fine and not have to raise premiums. Try GEICO.
