is there any safe market investment at this time .,,,globally
U.S. markets are tanking for obvious reasons but they are not the only country in the world,,suely there must be a few safer places to put your money.what do you think of Iceland t.bills and guaranteed investment certificates...they have inflation but are a debt free country and pay a high interest that may be enough to balance the currency risk

Money Markets are safe. Sometimes the thing to do is to be in cash until the Market turns around. Then you can start investing again.
As for foreign investments. As goes the US markets, so goes the rest of the world. If you can find a country that hasn't tanked already, it will.

i suggest that no market investment is risk free. no market investment can give maximum return with min. risk. since the market is at deflationary stage so you have to switch over to the ETF (exchange traded funds which are the best options these days of down fall in economy. ETF will give you the 4 options like selling call option, buying put options, diversification & decrese ur margin exposure . so switch over to ETF instead of stock markets
