At what level can we consider insider buying "significant"?

If a CEO is buying a few thousand shares of his company's stock, that doesn't sound like a big deal...so at what level is it serious enough to influence an investor's buying decision?

TBone, a CEO buying a few thousand shares of his company's stock IS significant if the share price is very high, like $100 or higher. I think you have to look at the dollar amount of the buy, rather than the number of shares.

Another factor which would make my ears perk up is if more than one insider was buying shares within a short period of time. Let's face it, it's always nice to see the insiders have faith in their own stock.
