What do you think about McDonald's?

McDonald's is great for a long term hold. But in this environment I think the American consumer is going to be looking for ways to stretch a dollar. That means buying in bulk, eating at home more and not spending $5 on a happy meal when they could spend $2 and put the extra $3 towards a mortgage that they're finding more difficult to pay.

Don't get me wrong, McDonald's has been on a great run! But if you look at how its stock performed during the last recession (the last few recessions, actually) then you might think twice about stepping in here.
