Unless we expert in the sector and we have fully information, we should not trade in any commodity at least for the next 02 years until we see clear direction in the commodity market.

I think prices of most commodities will come down drastically including oil There is clear demand destruction in the commodity market now.

More than that, it is a speculative driven market and we do not see any intelligent speculation by intelligent investors. on n the commodity market now.

I think it is wise to stay away from the commodity market now.

Old is Gold ..................but you cannot achieve it in this inflationary period.
since the economy is at its downfall & it is not wise to invest in the commodity market.
what you have to do that wait for sometime because it will be fruitfull one day.

Don't think so.

Fundamentals and economics aside, it seems from the charts that gold has broken an upward trendline that has held since 2002.

Staying out would probably be safer.

Yes, gold and silver are to be preferred to holding dollars. Gold actually does well when economies are in depression. To try to get out of a recession/depression governments will be printing money and depressing their currencies. Gold and silver should hold their relative value at a minimum and could have a spectacular rise as more people see them as alternatives to paper money. One indicator is that it is now hard to buy bullion gold coins as they have become scarce.

I agree totally with rvilmur.Quality Gold stocks are especially cheap right now .With the U.S. close to bankruptcy can it's common stock(the Dollar) be far behind? In an interview yesterday by Charlie Rose of Warren Buffet, even though Buffett supports the govt $700 Billion bail out he says higher inflation will be the cost. The U.S. empire has been in decline along with it's currency for several decades. The decline is accelerating.Don't be without some real assets(commodity) in your portfolio. Now is a good time to take a posistion. Also, holding some stocks with business in China would be good.

Thanks for the bearish insights, with a few exceptions. Gold and silver are being accumulated by large and wealthy individuals. Why are they wealthy? Becasue they invest well. Why are they buying gold and silver? Because they are scared an are becominig increasingly aware of the worthlessness of paper money.

In this weeks newsletter I get into the reasons to get into gold and silver, mainly that investment demand is surging, and supply does not meet demand which is growing, while supply continues to shrink.

Gold is held in check, to be couteous, by governements. Take advantage of their gift to you since they cannot suppress the trend forever. Once it goes off it will be too late.

What other investment is safe? Everyone must own a % of gold and silver in their portfolio in times like these. Before investing do an experiment. Try and buy some PHYSICAL silver. You won't be able to uness you are very fortunate. I don't want to scare you all by giving you a price target in USD terms but suffice it to say you will be very pleased. Inflation is here and gold and silver will keep you protected.

Most people cannot handle the stress of large moves both up and down. If that is you then don't get into the markets, but you will not be protected. If you can't handle volatility just don't look when things go sour.

Please sign up for my free weekly newsletter, and consider my words caefully but not blindly. Do your own due diligence starting by trying to buy physical and get a feel for the demand.
