Yes. now there are plenty of deeply discounted stocks in Asia.
If you do little bit of research you can get some valuations on the markets.

Actually current panic situation has made more attractive for different types of investors including value investors.

There were fire sales in companies with foreign holders recently.

It is better to invest in next rotating sectors in Asia. Some banks in Asia are strong. Some companies with local demand also will benefit in the next 02 years. Further some companies will benefit due to change of currency trend, interest rate and commodity trend.

Few sectors and companies will benefit most before other sectors in the next 18 months. These companies will be leaders in the next bull market. These companies will have demand for their products irrespective of up and down on the economy and their cooperate balance sheet swill strength more and more from next year onwards due to current trend.

If you have knowledge about the industry and company so much better. Then you can select best companies in Asia.

Avoid following sectors in Asia now:

Commodity sector and property sector
Technology sector and telecom sector
Health sector.
Vice Sector

It's true Asian stocks have been crushed. But when you're buying at a "discount", you have to know what the discount is. In this case, is the discount simply that the stocks are cheaper than before the financial crisis and global recession? Asian stocks should be cheaper than they were a year ago before there were so many threats to earnings. Global recession will hurt export economies more than those with domestic demand. U.S. stocks should be bought before Asian stocks.
