Yes, I would say the financial rescue bill is needed to stabilize the market, so I would vote for it.

I wouldlhave voted no. No to government bailout of fools who have too much overleveraged debt (some homeowners) and their pushers (bankers) who saw a way to profit. Will, now see what a phony bill it was and how little effect it had. You can't solve a debt problem by piling on my debt or pushing the debt from one set of books to another. A business contraction is a natural phenomena and when you try to prevent it its just like stopping small forest fires, when the big one finally hits you have no way to contain it. Why should banks continue to extend loans to companies and individuals who can't pay back their current obligations?

It's just a band-aid that will delay the inevitable. Something needs to be done, but at the expense of those who caused the problem, not the taxpayers. I would vote NO.
