buffett has been in the markets for many years and he knows more than most of the pundets on wall street and mortages lenders .yes i do agree only if there are also certain rules for the private investors

Yes. They should get involved in the bailout sooner than later. Otherwise more bad news will appear in the next 12 months.
I think we can not prevent becoming bankrupt of some companies,banks etc sooner than later. Eventually markets will stabilize once this bad stuff disappeared from the investment worlds.
Present chaos will help only selected sectors and these sectors gives life time opportunity for the investors now. Markets will rebound strongly due to demand for these sectors sooner than later.
