How will the Citi Wachovia Wells Fargo deal affect my Citi stocks?

It's tough to say how much of that recent drop in Citi's stock price is due to losing the Wachovia deal, and how much has to do with the general market. I'm staying away from financial services at this point, but if you already have some solid companies like your portfolio -- where most of the bad news is already out of the stock -- then you'll probably just wanna hold on tight (it's going to be a bumpy ride, however, so be prepared).

I agree with TBone: unless you want a tax loss, you might as well hold on; the amount left to lose is nothing compared to what long-term investors have already lost. Citigroup is in the worst shape of the three, I believe, so maybe you'll come out of this with a better investment eventually.
