My indicators are giving bearish to neutral readings. Stocks seem to have found a short-term bottom and have bounced off that bottom to rally over the past few days. This short bullish trend should continue as we head into the first week of a new month next week. Also, November is historically a good month for stocks.
But we are not out of the woods yet.
While the expected U.S. presidential election outcome has largely been priced into stocks, unpleasant surprises have not. Many analysts agree that one unpleasant surprise would be a Democratic super majority in Congress, which would open the door to tax increases and possibly increased industry nationalization. One or both of those possibilities would be harmful to stock investors.

There will be some volatility in the currency market.
Some Asian currencies such as Indian, Korean and Indonesian currencies will go up against US dollar.
