Few companies in the Renewable energy sector and some companies in the consumer staples sector will benefit most. Green technology sector also will benefit.

I think companies like KRAFT, General Electric will outperform market in the next 18 months and next 10 years.

Stay away from the oil conglomerates and large pharmaceutical companies

Commodity production companies worldwide will hit hard. There will be sell off in commodity stocks and commodities such as oil tomorrow.

However, there will be strong demand for some stocks worldwide.

Depends on how long you want to hold. Obama won't take office until Jan 20, then he has to make cabinet appointments, get situated, etc. So he won and the morning after markets are selling off. Based on his speeches, he is pro: alternative energy, biotech (STEM), health care, technology - but this will take some time.

I suggest actually biasing toward the short side in the near-term, following the very sharp, oversold bounce for the major averages.

Despite the recent and upcoming attempts at fiscal stimulus, the fact remains that the U.S. economy has yet to hit bottom. I believe there's a good chance the market could retest the recent lows once again before a true uptrend is established.

Last week's economic data was simply terrible and points to a very tough next three months, no matter how you slice it. My take is that business conditions will bottom around the first quarter of 2009, but possibly not until March or April.

Of course, going long isn't the only way to make money, so I suggest looking to put options in some of the most vulnerable sectors, including consumer spending commercial property and corporate software, as well as ETFs that profit from the downside, like the ProShares Ultra Short series.

None. When crude oil starts trending up, then you can go long on alternative energy.

Any company specializing in lawsuits, trial lawyers and regulation in general. We'll have lots of these kinds of "products" with Obama and the dems running things.
