Go to the
http://www.seekingalpha.com
(enormous) forum and in the search bar, type in German
There was an article yesterday about the largest of the German ADRs trading in the U.S., and there have been many others, previously.
You can also look at
http://www.stockabroad.com
which has a country sortable list of ADR's and ADS'.
Finally, the DAX and other exchanges have listings 'auf Englisch' for foreign investors, although the accounting standards aren't identical...many German stocks have delisted from the U.S. American Depositary Receipt system (ADR), because they can't comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, and trade so little here, that the costs for having a listin on a U.S. depositary (such as BONY-Mellon0 are just a waste of money. RWE...the giant Utility, is a recent example, although it still trades on the NASDAQ Pink Sheets under the code RWEOY.
