Any predictions for the market in 2009?

We'll get a brief respite in 2009 from the mortgage resets as pundits & money mngrs
think we are working thru all the foreclosures, but the S&P chart for 2008 bears a
striking resemblance to the DOW 1929 stk mkt crash and if you follow that timeline,
there's a bump up for part of 2009, followed by a longterm general downward trend
In short, we are seeing the onset of the WWII/ColdWar 2nd Great Depression that
no one will be able to FIX until onset of WWIII pulls us out of it in our traditional fashion
of solving all of our problems by an increase in DeathRates. We don't have brain
capacity sufficient to realize a decrease in BirthRates makes more common sense
