While their fundamentals don't look good, with declining revenue from advertisers and declining sales of papers, they did just get 250 million from Mexican Carlos Slim. So I don't think they will declare bankruptcy any time soon, unless they can use it to their advantage. That advantage would be to get out of leases, cancel contracts, etc. I don't think that is their main problems, so I don't foresee them going that route. But Carlos is not known for charity, so he will push them to make a profit.
