How do you think that this "Bad Bank" run by the FDIC will affect all of these financial stocks this week ?

It appears that the bad bank idea is headed for the trashcan. The first problem it would face is how much to pay for the mortgages it buys. Pay too much and get left holding the bag. Pay too little and kill the bank you bought the notes from as they just went under-capitalized. Banks would only want the first half. So with the plan in trouble, I don't think the market will attach much influence to it right now. The banks will be driven by the economic news and the news from the hill.

This idea is just one more attempt to dodge the bullet of admitting that our present financial system of fractional reserve banking based on creating DEBT out of thin air with NOTHING to back it up but empty promises is a fraud!
Paper dollars, or Euros, or Yen, Yuan or Rubles, call it what you will, "printing press" money substitutes (counterfeit) have no intrinsic value and are in reality I.O.U.s only as good as the government standing behind them.
Look at the record objectively, DEMAND an accounting of the bankers and politicians stewardship and you will find that the present U.S. dollar is worth about 4c in actual purchasing power compared too the dollar at the turn of the century. The bankers with their iniquitous Federal Reserve Act have not only STOLEN 95% of the average workers wages through inflation but have left the nations and citizens with DEBTS that can never be repaid! Unless the system is changed they will be collecting this DEBT penalty (interest) from our children and grandchildren in perpetuity!
In conclusion then, under the present system ALL the banks are bad and i would not touch any financial stocks based on any politicians or bankers promises until they come clean and give us HONEST money that holds its VALUE (purchasing power) as gold has for 5000 years!
