Is Wal-Mart a value stock?

Sadly yes. It is a defensive stock that investors piled into as the market moved down since a cash strapped consumer is one more likely to be price sensitive and shop where the lowest prices are. However, now they are piling right back out to buy more aggressive investments, pushing the price of Walmart down. I wouldn't buy it for the long term, but different strokes for different folks right?
