Is it true that banks now have to put on a cap on executive bonuses?
Or just "talk"?

The Congress and Obama are talking about making that a requirement for getting government help. The amount of bonuses that wall street handed out last year did seem a little out of the range of their performance last year. It was the 6th highest year of payout.

I was watching FOX news and the crawl at the bottom of the screen stated that banks that take bailout money are to limit executive compensation to $500,000. I took that to mean total pay for a year. (Regular pay plus bonuses.) I took that to mean that it is actually the rule now for excepting gov loans.
