NO. They are legally entitled to it. The bonuses were written into the bailout bill. The administration knew they were there. It is just a ploy to rouse the citizenry to so that the Democrats can "fix" a problem that they created. Meanwhile, who knows what the administration is up to while everyone is fixated on AIG.

The CEO of AIG told Congress yesterday that he had asked those who received bonuses in excess of $100,000.00 to return 50 per cent or more voluntarily. He said many had agreed to do this and some even offered 100 per cent. Poor Mr. Luddy! He took the heat like a good soldier should but the congressmen were really very rude to him except the committee chairman who noted that Mr. Luddy did not authorize these generous "retention bonuses" in the first place.

No, Contract law is being abused by congress. I would expect the Hi court to agree.
We are a coumtry that is supposed to live by law. Are these leaders not educated to their responsibility to our laws?
