It was somewhere between $0.25 and $0.4625 during the month of May in 1998, but the problem is (at least I'm guessing since you asked this in the "tax issues" section) that there will likely even be a modest range of prices on that specific day, so from a tax standpoint you will need to know what you actually paid for it (exact price), which you should be able to find out if you check with the broker that you purchased it through back then.

Update- It opened at 40 cents, the high was 43 cents, the low was 39 cents, and it closed at 43 cents. The previous link I sent you will give you this info.

If you can't find out what you paid for it ( I assume that's why you want to know it's price on that date) use the low price for tax purposes. That way you won't under report you profit ( I assume you sold it).

If you made a profit use the low price, if you lost money use the high. If you can't get in touch with your broker. Like, maybe they are no longer in business, you can't remember which broker it was, etc.
