is citigroup a worthwhile buy at the current price of 1.05?

even though a notable south american executive , an insider, has bought more than a million dollars worth of citigroup lately, specifically at $1.24, what does the future hold?

While C might trade up to $2 or so on good news, I don't think it has the legs to go above 4 for a long time. The government is taking 30+ percent of the common, so on much of a movement, the government may want to cash out some of it to raise money for other outfits.
